The Hard Part Is Done!!

The move to Live365.com is complete. Now it is time for the merely difficult. We are now streaming on both Radionomy (the old hosting service) and Live365.com (our new home).  The Radionomy stream will end during the last days of May.  We hope that all of the fine people who have supported us through the years will follow us to Live365.  The audio quality of the new stream is outstanding, thanks to the server being located in the United States.  The old stream had to travel from Austin to Belgium and back again. That resulted in quite a bit of loss of quality.

So...the big question is...where do you go to listen to the new stream? We have made a lot of progress on that front, adding a web player for the station to our website Stagedude.com.

We have also identified other apps that will help you listen to The Last Radio Show.

Get Our Free App for IOS or Android
Go to The App Store or Google Play and enter
ATX The Last Radio Show in the Search box.
Download the app and listen!  It's Free!!

Listeners can now access Live365 on Amazon Alexa using the phrase "Play Live365!" Previously, listening was only available via browser or the Live365 mobile app, but the new Live365 Alexa Skill allows listeners to tune in via their Alexa devices.

To begin listening to Live365 on your Alexa, you first need to enable the Live365 Alexa Skill in the Alexa Skills Store. Search “Live365” in the Alexa Skills Store or navigate directly to the Live365 skill page by clicking here. Once there, select “Enable” and you will then be able to access Live365 on all of your available Alexa devices. You can also enable the Live365 skill by simply saying "Alexa, Enable Live365 Skill."
Helpful Hint:
For Alexa, Live365 is pronounced Live Three Sixty Five...
not Live three six five.

After enabling the Live365 skill, tune into Live365 by saying “Alexa, play Live365!” You will then be prompted to pick a station or genre.
Say "Alexa, play ATX The Last Radio Show".
Well...this is a bit misleading. Apple has been deleting internet radio stations from ITunes but you can still listen to us using ITunes
1. In ITunes select File/Open stream.
2. Enter the following url into the popup box.
     http://streaming.live365.com/a21115
3. Click OK
The station will begin playing. NOW...you will see a21115 displayed in the center box at the top of the screen.  Right click on that box and select Add To Playlist. If you already have a playlist in ITunes, select that playlist. If not, select New Playlist.  Now you have a permanent link to ATX The Last Radio Show!

Apple TV (not the original version, sadly) allows you to download apps from the App Store.  Our favorite allows you to create your own link to ATX The Last Radio Show. Go to The App Store and enter The Bat Player Radio into the Search box at the top of the screen.  Download the app and run it in Apple TV.
1. Select Stations in the upper menu

2. Scroll down to Stations
3. Select the Add Stations folder
4. Select the Add folder
5. Select Add Using Stream URL and enter the following url
     http://streaming.live365.com/a21115
6. Go to your stations..Select the ATX The Last Radio Show link and ENJOY!

The Bat Player is my favorite streaming app!  It has great audio quality, it shows album graphics and artist photos, the title of the song plus a brief history of the artist!

myTuner is another fine app that works with both Apple TV and Roku.  Just download/install the app from The App Store or Roku's selection of streaming channels.  Search for ATX The Last Radio Show.

You can use WINAMP when listening to
ATX  The Last Radio Show.

This app is a great addition to the growing number of ways Live365 allows you to listen to our station.  Download it from this link:

Once it is installed, go to FILE/PLAY URL and enter
http://streaming.live365.com/a21115

Well, that was exceedingly easy!

ATX The Last Radio Show has moved onshore to Live365.com. No more waiting for the Belgian techs to fix their servers. The station is sounding exceptional, if I must say so myself (and I did). Drop by for a listen. I'll be screwing around with the music library, so you never know what i'll play. If music of the 70's and 80's floats your boat, drop by!

Go to http://stagedude.com  or just click on the player on the righthand side of the screen!
Can I get me a WHOO HOOO?

We Are Moving!
It is the same station...just a new streaming provider. Please bookmark this site.  ATX The Last Radio Show will continue streaming on Radionomy until the end of May. In the meantime, we are moving the station to Live365.com and hope to be broadcasting soon.  We will run the station on both services until the end of May, then turn off the lights and pull the plug on the Radionomy stream.
Check back often for updates on our progress and links to the new
ATX The Last Radio Show.
